CLASS SCHEDULE
MONDAYS
4:30-6:15 PM Gentle Yoga
A nurturing class for everyone, beginner to advanced. Poses are modified according to each students needs.
TUESDAYS
6-7:15 PM Yoga Basics
Develop a solid foundation for your yoga practice. Learn optimal breathing, posture and alignment while discovering new ways to move with grace and ease.
THURSDAYS
4-5:15 PM Yoga Therapy Clinic
Each student receives an individualized body*mind*spirit yoga prescription for restoring well being.
6-7:15 Yoga Flow
An energizing class for intermediate students who enjoy dynamic yoga practice. Vinyasa yoga is a flowing sequence of poses linked with counter poses and imparts strength, agility, endurance, as well as enhanced flexibility.
 
CLASS POLICIES
Classes are small - a maximum of seven students! This ensure quality, individualized attention! Students are encouraged to register for a 9-12 ($126-$168) week session of classes. This reserves your place in class to ensures that your understanding and abilities will increase progressively. Call (480) 206-6199 to inquire about the current session, you may join a class mid-session, if space is available. Drop-ins are permitted, when space is available ($15).
 
YOGA THERAPY PRIVATE SESSIONS
Learn yoga the ancient way.
Yoga was traditionally transmitted individually, directly from the guru to the initiate.
When a yoga class does not fit into your schedule.
    You’d prefer individualized instruction with the
opportunity to ask questions.
You want a focused sequence of poses, breathing techniques, guided visualizations (and more) specifically designed for your unique dosha (constitution) and condition.

ABOUT ANNA & YOGA
    Anna began practicing yoga when she was 16, over twenty years ago! Yoga transformed Anna’s life by giving her the following gifts: Anna learned how to release the back pain she began experiencing at age 10 due to scoliosis. Through yoga Anna was able to gain the prerequisite peace of mind needed to tap into the self-confidence, inner strength and positive focus required to understand and follow her dharma (true path). Anna has dedicated the past 20 years to sharing these gifts with others.
     She has studied many forms of hatha yoga, including Kripalu, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Anusara, Tri-Yoga, as well as Ayurveda, the healing branch of yoga. Anna is a certified Integrative Yoga Therapist.  Since 1986 Anna has been developing her own style of yoga, influenced by her teachers along the path, including Rodney Yee, Judith Lasater, David Life & Sharon Gannon, Angela Farmer, John Friend, David Frawley, and many others. In addition, Anna is devoted to the study of Sanskrit, yoga’s sacred alphabet, which is considered a divine language through which light shines.
    Anna’s approach to teaching yoga places equal emphasis on precise anatomical alignment and modifying poses for each student, deep breathing, the healing aspects of yoga, calming and transforming the mind, and awakening Higher Consciousness. Yogic and Buddhist philosophy is integrated into each class to impart wisdom and spiritual guidance.
